1. Download the phantom wallet chrome extension found here
2. Select "Create a new wallet."
3. Use any password you would like then click continue
4. Open the chrome extension, go to the burger menu on the top left, open settings at the bottom, then head into developer settings.
5. In developer settings make sure you turn on Testnet Mode.
6. Under settings, head over to your account, then account address, and copy the Solona Devnet address.
7. Head over to the SolFaucet website found here, paste your wallet address into the textbox. Then set the value of SOL to 10, and select the Devnet option.
The functionality of this is to simulate sending SOL on devnet, which is a server where you're not using real SOL. First you begin by following the instructions on setting up a phantom wallet, which could be found above. After that has been set up, click "connect". Then type in the amount of SOL you want to be transferred. Then click send. The text appearing below is a very simplified version of what a blockchain is. The information displayed is what would be on one block in a blockchain. It carries the data of the transaction and saves it.
Imagine each one of these connected blocks to be a block of data. Everytime the "send" button is clicked, it essentially creates a new block with new data that are linked to eachother.
